Vision and learning are very closely related, 80% of what a child learns is through vision. Eyetests at school are no longer mandatory and so fewer children are having their eyes checked regularly. Studies have showed that 1 in 5 children in the UK have an undetected eye problem.
Diagnosing problems in sight is extremely important to ensure that children of all ages reach their full academic potential. We recommend that every child’s eyes should be checked at least once a year.
