dyslVisual Stress refers to difficulty in reading, light sensitivity and headaches from exposure to disturbing visual patterns.  This can result in distortion of print, as well as rapid onset of fatigue when reading. These symptoms can occur despite having normal vision.

Dyslexia is a term used to refer to reading problems that are not due to poor teaching.  It is often associated with diffculty in spelling.  Visual Stress is not the same as Dyslexia but it is more common in those with Dyslexia.

Visual Stress can be reduced by using coloured overlays or coloured lenses used in spectacles.  The reduction occurs only when the colour is selected to suit the individual.

The colour is seleced with the aid of Colorimetry available at E4 Eyes
